Royal Valley had 7 compete at this year’s state conference.  The Broadcast Journalism team placed 2nd overall in state and will continue on to Nationals. Team members include Alyssa Schuetz, Mariah Zavala, and Jesus Zavala.

Here is Mr. DiLeonardo, one of the FBLA Advisors, had to say about the State Leadership Conference.

"I think it was a good experience for the students. They got to learn about what FBLA is and see how many students from Kansas are really involved in it. I am very proud of the Broadcast Team for taking 2nd in the State. It was not an easy thing for them to accomplish."
