The USD #337 school board held a special meeting to hear information from Superintendent Aaric Davis regarding the plans for reopening schools in August. The Board reviewed the document A Guide to Reopening Royal Valley Schools and had an opportunity to ask clarifying questions. During the special meeting, the Board also voted to adjust the school calendar and move the first day of school back to August 24, 2020 to allow for 3 additional days of training for staff prior to the first day of school. In addition, there will be no school on Friday, August 28, 2020 to allow for additional training and planning for staff to adjust instruction after the first four days of school.
