Pollinators Garden

Mrs. Swank’s Environmental Science class has begun restoring the school’s pollinator garden. While the garden won’t be in full bloom until spring, this important groundwork is key to creating a healthy, thriving habitat for pollinators like bees and butterflies. Students will continue leading the project throughout the year, taking responsibility for maintaining and improving the space.

Once the initial restoration is finished, upkeep will become more manageable, allowing the class to focus on keeping the garden vibrant and welcoming. This hands-on project not only supports the environment but also gives students a meaningful learning experience they’ll build on in the months ahead.
