Mrs. Litherland's Intro to FACS class partnered with Mrs. Smith’s and Mrs. Kanicki’s kindergarten classes to teach the “Worry Monster” lesson, which focuses on the developmental milestones of kindergartners. As part of the activity, students designed their own worry monsters—drawing what they looked like, deciding their favorite foods and colors, and even sharing what their monsters might be afraid of. Afterward, the high school students joined the kindergartners on the playground, where they observed and learned about the children’s physical abilities in action.
