Mrs. Litherland's Intro to FACS classes talked with the Kindergarten students throughout the school year about what the Kindergarteners are scared of, what they worry about and what they like. The high school students talked about lots of emotions with the Kindergarten classes, and they had the Kindergarten students fill out a paper and draw what they think their Worry Monster looks like.
Students in the Family and Consumer Science classes then stitched together the monster they created to look like what the Kindergarten students described. Today the freshmen took the worry monsters and a booklet of games, puzzles and coloring pages that they created in class to the Kindergarten students. Students of all ages had a good time playing with the worry monsters and working in the activity book!
