On Monday, April 20, RVHS JCYC members Lauryn Caviness and Maggie Davis joined students from Holton High School and Jackson Heights High School to speak before the Jackson County Commissioners. During the meeting, the students highlighted the many activities and initiatives they have led throughout the school year.
The JCYC program promotes healthy choices and positive decision-making within the community. This year, students focused their efforts on several important issues, including seat belt safety, mental health awareness, the dangers of drugs and alcohol, and the harmful effects of vaping.
RVHS is proud of Lauryn and Maggie for representing the school and contributing to meaningful change in Jackson County!
