Students in Ms. Temple’s Spanish I class recently brought language learning to life by stepping into the spotlight with skits performed entirely in Spanish. While wearing fun costumes and embracing their roles, students practiced their speaking and listening skills in a fun, interactive way while acting out short scenes in front of their classmates.
Following each performance, Ms. Temple asked comprehension questions to check for understanding and encourage active listening among the audience. This not only reinforced vocabulary and conversational skills, but also helped build students’ confidence in using Spanish in real-life situations.
