Hoyt, KS — April 2026 — Royal Valley High School is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its students at the Kansas Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference, held March 29–31, 2026, at the Stormont Vail Events Center in Topeka.
Two Royal Valley teams earned top placements in highly competitive events. Junior Misa Potts and sophomore Colin Dayson captured third place in the Public Service Announcement category for their impactful video over cyberbullying. In Broadcast Journalism, seniors Mason Pahmahmie and Ronin Gentile earned an impressive second-place finish, marking their second consecutive year placing at the state level. Mason and Ronin created a news broadcast about the RV cross country team's annual homecoming run.
With these achievements, both teams have qualified to represent Royal Valley and the state of Kansas at the FBLA National Leadership Conference, which will take place June 29–July 2, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas.
The Royal Valley community congratulates Misa, Colin, Mason, and Ronin on their success and wishes them the best as they prepare for nationals this summer.
