Students in Mrs. Ramberg’s Art Foundations class are bringing stories to life in a creative new way, by transforming books into sculptures. Using old and recycled books, students are folding, cutting, and shaping pages into unique works of art.
Each sculpture reflects the students’ imagination while giving new purpose to materials that might have otherwise been thrown away.
Freshman Payton Snyder shared, “At first, I thought it would be really fun. It became a bit repetitive at times, but the final product turned out great, and I truly enjoyed the experience. Book sculptures have been one of my favorite projects in art this year.”
