Panther Families

On Wednesday, March 25th, RVES held its monthly Panther Family Meeting. The assembly kicked off with an exciting performance by the RVHS Drumline, energizing students and getting them pumped for upcoming state assessments in the upper grades!

After lunch, students gathered in their groups to focus on the theme of Citizenship. Following a discussion about what it means to be a good citizen, each group participated in a Panther Community Service activity of their choice. Activities included Classroom Care Crew, Playground Clean-Up Crew, Kindness Card Station, “Grow Our Community” posters, citizenship skits, sorting games, crafts, school improvement brainstorming, and creating a Panther Family Citizenship Promise.

With sunshine and beautiful weather, many groups took their learning outside by helping clean up the playground and surrounding areas. Students really put their citizenship skills into action!
