Sophomore Jace Johnson etched his name into the record books during a standout performance against Chapman, making school history in the process. Johnson set a new single-game steals record with 10 steals, breaking the previous mark held by Nahcs Wahwassuck. The record-breaking night wasn’t just about the numbers, it showcased Johnson’s hustle and effort on the court.
“Basketball has impacted me in so many ways,” Johnson said. “I’m so thankful to be a part of this team. One of the biggest ways it’s impacted me is by bringing me closer to my teammates.”
Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach Chris Brown praised Johnson’s work ethic, saying, “Jace has always hustled and played hard for our team. That game didn’t just set a new school record—it showed that his hard work and dedication are paying off.”
