Starting January 27th, several RVHS seniors will begin spring semester internships, taking meaningful steps toward preparing for their futures. Through this program, students gain hands-on experience, develop practical skills, and explore career paths aligned with their interests.
This year marks the largest internship class Mrs. Carlson has supervised, with 17 seniors participating. Each internship is a structured, temporary work experience designed to provide real-world learning beyond the classroom.
“I’m excited to have 17 seniors in the internship program this semester,” said Mrs. Carlson. “While finding placements for such a wide range of career interests has been a challenge, I know the students are ready to learn outside the classroom. They have great opportunities ahead to explore potential careers, and I hope this experience helps them reflect on what type of job is the right fit for them.”
