Location: Silver Lake High School - 200 E Lake St, Silver Lake, KS 66539
We will host 16 teams in two 8-team pools, as assigned by KSHSAA. Registration will begin at 3:30 PM in the commons, followed by a coaches/participants meeting at 3:55 PM and play at 4:00PM. We hope to be finished by around 8:00 PM. Please plan to arrive no earlier than 3:20 PM, as our school day ends at 3:05 PM, and this will allow time for our parking lot to clear.
The tournament will follow in a round-robin format. The top three teams from each pool will advance to a finals round-robin. The champion, runner-up, and third place finishers will be determined based on standard KSHSAA tie-break procedures. The top 3 teams from this regional and the other three 3A sites will qualify for the 2025-26 State Tournament on Saturday, February 14, at Gypsum – Southeast of Saline High School.
We will serve a light meal for students upon arrival, including walking tacos, cookies, and water. A hospitality room will also be available for workers, coaches, and sponsors. If your team would like dining options after the tournament, Silver Lake offers La Victoria (Mexican), a Chinese Restaurant, Gambino's Pizza, and Faraz's hamburgers and sandwiches. There is also a Dollar General Market and a Casey’s nearby.
Upon arrival, please park in the parking lot on the west end of the building and enter through the southwest door. Check in, food, and announcements will take place in the commons area. Please note that a Junior High basketball game will also be taking place that evening beginning at 4:30 PM, so the commons and parking area will be busy. However, all competition rooms are located away from this area.
