On December 19th, the school will host its annual Native American Heritage Night, a community event that celebrates the traditions and history of Native peoples. The main highlight of the evening will happen during halftime of the Varsity Boys' Basketball game, when Native American Singers and Dancers will take the court for a special performance.
The Boys and Girls Club of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation will also be selling Indian Tacos in the gym commons. Students, families, and community members are encouraged to stop by, support the club, and enjoy a great meal before or during the games.
Everyone is invited to come out, cheer on the Panthers as they take on Sabetha, and enjoy an evening that celebrates both athletics and Native American singing, dancing, and culture. This special night highlights the rich cultural heritage that continues to shape and strengthen our community!
