Royal Valley hosted its annual Senior Citizen Lunch on Friday, November 21st. Students in Mrs. Litherland’s Lifespan Development class helped decorate the tables and serve food to all who attended. After enjoying their meal, guests played a fun round of Trivia Kahoot. Each attendee went home with a chicken and rice container, a cake mix kit, a Panther Grandparent shirt, fresh flower centerpieces, and cookies prepared by the RV Kitchen Staff!
A big thank you to everyone who attended the Senior Citizen Lunch! One guest noted that this may mark the 47th year Royal Valley has hosted this special event.
Thank you to the RV Kitchen Staff for preparing a delicious Thanksgiving meal and dessert for everyone to enjoy. Additional thanks to the RVHS FFA for creating beautiful flower arrangements, the Paw Print for making shirts for attendees, JAG-K for assembling the cake mix kits, FCCLA for preparing the chicken and rice containers, and FBLA for designing card holders with the 3D printer.
Lifespan Development students organized a variety of games to play, like Go Fish, Bingo, Uno, Pictionary, and Corn Hole. Unfortunately, they ran out of time and were only able to play the Trivia Kahoot game.
Thanks again to everyone who helped make this event a success!
