Who: Any RVHS Student (must currently be in 9th grade or above AND 14 years of age or older)
*Course fee must be paid in full to the RVHS Office by Friday, Jan. 9th; The first 36 students who pay will be enrolled in the course. Unfortunately, once we meet our max enrollment of 36 students, there will be no more spots available.

Course Requirements:
Students must pass Ch. 1 - Ch. 18 Quizzes with an 80% or above.
Chapter Quizzes will be completed remotely; must be completed by the due date given or students will automatically fail.
Students will get 4 attempts on each Quiz.
Students must pass Unit 1, 2, 3, and 4 Tests with an 80% or above.
Unit Tests will be taken at RVHS with the Instructor.
Students will get 4 attempts on each Unit Test.
Students must pass the Kansas Handbook test with an 80% or above.
Handbook Tests will be taken at RVHS with the Instructor.
Students can take the handbook test up to 4 times; if they fail on the 4th attempt, they will fail the course.
If students miss class, they must communicate with the instructor ahead of time to schedule another time to take Unit Tests / Handbook Tests. If students fail to communicate with the instructor, they will be removed from the class and fail.
The RVHS Driver’s Education Course is a Pass / Fail class. If students pass, they will receive 0.25 credits for the class and it will be on their RVHS High School transcript.
Students are required to complete 4 hours of Behind The Wheel Driving with an instructor, which will start in June of 2026. If students do not successfully meet all of the driving requirements, they will not pass the class.
