The Future Now event is designed to give sophomore and junior students a hands-on opportunity to explore real-world financial and life skills. During the event, students will engage in interactive activities that simulate adult responsibilities such as taking out a loan, purchasing a home, setting up a 401(k) retirement plan, and creating a realistic budget for everyday expenses like food and transportation. Each student will also be assigned a credit score based on their school attendance and academic performance, which will influence their financial decisions throughout the simulation.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 11th.
Sophomores will participate in Future Now from 11AM - 11:45AM.
Juniors will take part from 12:25PM - 1:10PM.
