JAG Ceremony

On Wednesday, October 22nd at 7:00 p.m., the JAG-K program held its Annual Initiation and Installation (I&I) Ceremony to officially induct members into the Career Association.

A total of 24 students, along with their families and friends, attended this special event. The ceremony featured Officer John Calvert as the guest speaker, who shared an inspiring message about leadership and perseverance.

Senior, Saniya Betts opened and closed the ceremony with a warm welcome and reflection, while Senior, Sarah Lake spoke about the Leadership Council and its role within JAG-K. The six leadership officers led their peers in reciting the JAG-K Creed, marking the official start of the new year for the Career Association.

The evening’s theme was “Thankful,” reminding students of the importance of gratitude and community. To tie in with the theme, each student painted a wooden flower, which was used as table décor during the ceremony and later shared with someone they are thankful for.

It was a memorable night celebrating leadership, service, and the strong sense of family that JAG-K brings to Royal Valley!
