On October 2nd, the JAG-K leadership council, including Sarah Lake, Binx Kitchommie, A'Jaun Smith, Liza Hopkins, and Ruby James, attended the Region 2 Leadership Development Conference at Kansas State University. There, they attended two speaker sessions, one with Eric Thompson, Trio Director, and Dr. Tracz, Director of Bands. During lunch, speaker John "Iron Man" Cantrell said a few words. In the afternoon, there were 6 sessions to choose from about leadership in college and high school, and how to succeed in those environments.
On October 3rd, nine JAG-K members attended Made for Manufacturing Day held by Go Topeka, where they attended two tours, one of the Industrial Maintenance Inc and the second was a tour of HF Mixing Group, then attended Washburn Tech for lunch.
