On Wednesday, October 1st, and Thursday, October 2nd, RVHS Environmental Science students and RVES STEM students in grades K-3 had the opportunity to hear from Bill Johnston of Kansas Corn.
At RVHS, Bill spoke with Environmental Science students about GMOs and their importance in food production. The following day, he visited RVES to share with younger STEM learners about food production, seed varieties grown in Kansas, farm animals, and modern farm equipment.
This two-day visit gave students of all ages a valuable look into agriculture and its impact on our everyday lives.
