On Wednesday, September 24th, RVHS FCA hosted See You At the Pole. During this, students of all ages, staff, and community members gathered to sing worship songs and share a prayer. This was done to honor the 35 year old tradition of students initiating and gathering to pray for the school, community, nation, and world. See You At The Pole bracelets were also handed out to those who gathered. In order, the songs sang were:
Gratitude - Brandon Lake
God Turn It Around - Jon Reddick
Rescue - Lauren Daigle
Promise - Maverick City
These songs were among many recommended during our FCA meeting previous to the event. FCA members were then allowed to vote for which four they wanted to sing.
Also, FCA wants to say a special thank you to the members of the Hoyt Baptist Church for providing an incredible breakfast for the community, before the event took place.
