On Monday, November 25, the environmental science class went out to the corner of the parking lot to measure out the size of the pollinator garden. On Monday they are going back out to start the construction of it. They will be planting many kinds of plants that attract many kinds of pollinators.
Mrs. Swank said, "I am very exited to start this project. We have been hoping to fund this project since the beginning of the class. I believe that it is a great opportunity for students to explore hands-on conservation. The pollinators that we hope to attract are monarch butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and bats."
Thank you to the Charitable Contributions Committee! We are exited to open this up to the community!
