The Will, Mary Jay & Edna Van Sweringen Trust Fund established a scholarship program to award scholarships to any deserving student from Jackson County who attends Kansas State University. In accordance with the trust fund, preference will be given to those students whose financial situations might not allow them to otherwise attend.
Applicants will be accepted from any student planning to attend or currently attending Kansas State University. One $200 scholarship will be awarded. Applications need to be returned to the Jackson County Clerk's Office no later than Monday, April 2, 2018.

Local Elections Officials and Supervising Judges of the state of Kansas provide funds for the Kansas County Clerk's and Election Officials Association Scholarships. This scholarship is for those students majoring in journalism, political science, communications or business. The scholarships are available to high school seniors or college freshmen and sophomores. The amount awarded will be $500. The number of scholarships is based on funds available. Photographs are not necessary.
Applications need to be returned to the Jackson County Clerk's Office no later than Monday, April 2, 2018.
