Elementary School Awards

On Monday, May 13th the elementary school had their awards ceremony. The students got medals for doing well on their State Assessments in math and reading.
Mrs. Morris was reconized for working for 40 years at Royal Valley. She is retiring at the end of this school year.
Mr. Ternes gave out awards for Presidential fitnes and the survivor mile.
Mrs. Kimble showed the videos from past Christmas concerts from when the fourth graders were younger.
Mrs. Williams and Tux awarded the "Tux's T-RRIFIC Star Student Award" to Travor Matthews. This award was for a "Character" who shows kindness, thoughtfulness and has a positive attitude toward other students and staff. The other award was the "Certificate of Reconginition." Alexander Buckley-Bingham was awarded this. The award is for a "Character" who cares very greatly.
Trevor commented, "I was happy to get this award, and I couldn't believe I got the award."
