The Jackson County Sheriff's Office will host their 16th annual Law Enforcement Day Camp August 10 and 11, 2017. This camp is to establish a positive relationship between kids and law enforcement. Day camp gives kids an understanding of law enforcement duties and assignments. It allows kids to become familiar with deputies and officers who work in the area. We have volunteers from many other law enforcement agencies as well as local fire and emergency medical service departments at the camp.
Kids' Day Camp offers many activities to promote safety and awareness. Here are a few of the things we will do:
- Water Safety
- Seat Belt Safety
