Roach Named Teacher of the Year

This Monday 4th grade teacher Annette Roach was awarded with Teacher of the Year for local and district by the Holton VFW, receiving a certificate and 50 dollars. Later that night Mrs. Roach also found out that she had won Teacher of the Year for the entire state! There will be an assembly February 23rd at 2:30 where she will receive her award, and her essay will be entered into a national competition.
"They were looking for a teacher and someone who was involved in the community.... I help with 4H, church activities, and FRG ( Family Readiness Group) for the military," commented Mrs. Roach.
Congratulations and good luck at the national competition!
