Brown BMX State Champion

Ty Brown, a freshman at Royal Valley High School, won the state championship in the BMX last weekend. Ty started BMX at a young age. He got into BMX because his dad used to do it when he was a kid.
"It took a lot of work, but it was fun to win!" exclaimed Ty.
Ty works hard and practices two hours once a week. The state championships were held in Wichita this past weekend. There were seven other kids on the competition racing against Ty and he won the gold in the 14-year-old age division.
