Dear Parents:
The Royal Valley Recreation Association Board has two options for fund-raising efforts this year. The fundraiser will be selling sunflower seeds. If your child will be playing baseball or softball this summer, it is mandatory that you participate in the fundraiser.
There are two fundraising options.
• Option 1: Opt out of selling sunflower seeds by paying $25 per child. The $25 will need to be paid at the time of sign-up in addition to the $60 registration fee.
• Option 2: To receive 40 bags of sunflower seeds to sell per child. The cost is $40. You will have the opportunity to receive your $40 back if you choose to sell all 40 bags at $1 each. The $40 will need to be paid at the time of sign-up in addition to the $60 registration fee.
This fundraising system is designed per child up to 2 children per immediate family. Registration fees (which include tournament fees) are going to remain the same as last year -- $60 per child or $200 max per immediate family.
The uniform shirt will cost $18.
Hats or visors will cost $10.
Girls uniform shorts(optional) will cost $12.
Sign-up dates are: February 17 and February 24 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm in the high school gym commons area. Late registrations may or may not be accepted depending on whether a team is full. 12 players is considered a full team.
