Royal Valley Health Fair
Where: Royal Valley High School
When: Saturday, February 27, 9:00-Noon
Free Screenings for Children:
Health: Carrie Saia RN, Holton/Hoyt
Vision: Dr. Meerpohl, Holton
Dental: Dr. Hermann, Holton
School Readiness Screenings:
Speech/Language: Jennifer Stous, Speech Pathologist
Hearing: Jennifer Collins, RVES School Nurse
Developmental Screenings: Denver and DIAL
Linda Burger from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department will be here to oversee infant/toddler car seat safety checks with Ashley Ribelin. Part of the circle drive in front of the school will be blocked off so that parents can pull their cars in to have their child seats inspected for proper installation.
Members of the RVHS FCCLA Chapter will provide child care for the day. You may drop off your child when you arrive at the health fair and pick them up when you leave.
Jodi Shupe from Oral Health Kansas will be there to provide information on fluoride varnish treatment. She will give fluoride treatment to all students who are in attendance and wish to have this done.
Enjoy breakfast and visiting informational booths between screenings.
