Hoops For Heart

On February 11th, and 12th the middle school held their Hoops For Heart events. On February 11th the 7th and 8th grades shot in the morning, and on February 12th the 5th and 6th shot. They did basketball activities as a wrap up to them getting donations and money. The middle school students raised $3000, they displayed paper lifesaver candies in the commons and each one was worth $25. The top raiser was Sierra McClane, she raised $200.
She said when asked about being the top raiser, "It wasn't hard to raise the money. I just sent my dad to work with the forms, and he did a good job raising money."
Sierra said she would get a shirt and a basketball and a few other things as well. The following is results from the past 11 Hoops For Heart events at RVMS:
