Biographical Information My family moved to a farm in Holton in 1987. I've worked in Jackson County schools since 1990. I spent several years as a special education para-educator, then I became a library assistant which lead to my current position here at Royal Valley in 2006. My children are all grown. I have 2 sons, a daughter and a step-daughter. My husband and I enjoy our 7 grandchildren! They keep us very busy. We love life on our farm with a few cows and our many pets. Our household includes 4 dogs, 2 cats and 6 doves plus 1 outside cat and the gold fish in the backyard pond. In the fall of 2010 we adopted a "special needs" horse named Chuck. He is a delightful addition! We also have another horse, General who keeps Chuck company. The grandkids enjoy riding these two "senior" horses. Life is Good! |
