Free Homework Help Available

August 06, 2008

Students who are working on homework and needing help now have an online option.  During the hours of 4 to 11 pm every day, students may log in to www.homeworkkansas.org and get help with math, science, social science and English.  Tutoring in math, science and social science is also available in Spanish.  It's a free service for K-12 students, teachers, parents and librarians in the state of Kansas, provided by the State Library of Kansas.

Homework Kansas automatically connects students via the Internet with a professional tutor.  All tutors are subjected to thorough background and reference checks.

Once the students are at the home page of Homework Kansas (www.homeworkkansas.org), they need to click on the link that says "Click here to connect to Homework Kansas."  Normally, the software will recognize that a student is trying to connect from within the state.  However, some times it will not.  If you try to go to the homework help site and it asks for a Kansas Library Card number, please ask your school librarian to give you a Kansas Library Card.  This library card will have a pin number on it for you to use when you go to HomeworkKansas.
