Board Approves FCCLA Trip

Mayree Corrigan and Mrs. Monique Litherland went to the Board of Education on April 28, 2008 to ask for money to got to the FCCLA National meeting in Orlando, Florida. Mayree gave a 10-minute speech why she needs to attend the meeting and what the money will be used for.
After asking questions, the board approved to help Mayree Corrigan and Monique Litherland. When Mayree comes back from Orlando, the Board asked if she would come back and give a presentation on everything she did there.
"It feels gratifying to know you have the support from the Board not only for me but for the students that go above and beyond," commented Monique Litherland.
