TV, Radio, Web Will Report School Closings

The winter season brings about the possibility of school closing for snow or ice. Please be aware of the different ways you can find out if Royal Valley schools are closed. Television sources include: WIBW-TV Channel 13, KSNT-TV Channel 27 and KTKA-TV Channel 49. KTKA will become available after January.
Radio sources for school closings are 580 AM WIBW, 94 Country, 103.9 KNZA, Action News 106.5 Country and KPR in Lawrence.
Websites also list school closings. The Royal Valley website now has a scrolling banner across the top of the front page, above the masthead. School closing information can be found on that scrolling banner as soon as we can make it available. Another website for school closing is www.wibw.com and then click on the "closings" tab.
